Does it concern anyone that technology is creeping into our lives in progressively more intrusive ways? Yeah, me neither. Actually, I'm proud that I'm almost 40 and still able to keep up a little. Granted, the average preschooler is more savvy than I am at this point, but at least I'm trying.
Now if I can just catch back up musically I'll be set. Of course, being in a non-college Arkansas town (yes, I know UALR is here but it's a commuter school--a big commuter school, but still) I don't get exposed to much that isn't simply popular. Not that there's anything necessarily wrong with being popular other than the fact that it steals your soul (see Jonas Brothers), but I don't care much for the music I'm hearing from the youngsters today.
Suggestions? Anyone? Anyone?

I'm Back!
I bet you thought I forgot about this blog, didn't you? Well, you're right. I did. It wasn't until a friend of mine moved to Wisconsin and decided to start a blog that I rediscovered my own.
As soon as I dropped in on Cordelia's blog, I thought to myself, "This looks familiar." Even so, I didn't remember that I had a blog here until I decided to follow hers. When I clicked on the link to follow, I was understandably surprised that I didn't have to fill out any profile information. And that the site already seemed to know who I was. And that it knew my hash name. Eventually, it dawned on me that I must have registered at some point in the past. (I never said I was quick on the uptake.) Then I noticed that I had a blog. That's when the wheels really started turning.
On the upside, it was interesting to go back and read what I was thinking about last year. I do seem to have a quirkiness that's moderately appealing, if I may say so myself. Maybe I'll take this thing up again, but I wouldn't hold my breath in the hopes of regular entries. History would be against you in that endeavor.
